Cruise the Galapagos Islands in comfort aboard the Cachalote Explorer yacht. Built for stability and with fitted with modern amenities, she offers the perfect small-ship cruise in the Galapagos. Panoramic windows in the salon and open deck spaces create an inviting environment for all guests onboard. Enjoy breathtaking views whilst dining on freshly prepared local cuisine, or relax on the sundeck whilst keeping an eye out for whales and dolphins. Eight spacious cabins are spread out over the lower and upper decks. Cabins 1 & 2 are located on the upper deck and feature 1 queen bed plus 1 single bunk bed and ocean views. On the lower deck are 5 queen bed cabins and 1 twin. All cabins feature individually controlled air-conditioning, storage space and private en-suite bathrooms.
The Cachalote Explorer offers 2 different 8-day Galapagos itineraries. The “Fernandina” itinerary focusses on the Central and Western Islands, and also includes visits to Fernandina and Western Isabela where guests can enjoy spectacular views of volcanoes and get up close with large colonies of marine iguanas. The “Tower” itinerary explores the Central, Southern and Northern Islands and includes visits to Tower & Hood Islands to visit Gardener Bay and Prince Phillip Steps. Each of these unique itineraries is led by a highly experienced naturalist guide to ensure a memorable trip.
